Creative Design Competition - re-vamp a pair of jeans!

The Jean Genie is a creative design competition to raise much needed funds for Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice

The Cutlers Challenge

Why?
The Cutlers Challenge!
£50 cash and 6 months to turn it into...... well thousands - hopefully!

How?
A competition, open to everyone and anyone:
Take a pair of jeans (or any other denim item)
Re-vamp, using a theme or come up with one of your own
Complete an application form and attach to the garment
The Finale will be a fashion show of all the entries where the winner will be announced. Donated items will be sold or auctioned at the event and winners will receive their prize(s)

Competition Closed

Thank you so much to everyone who entered. The competition is now closed and the entries have been submitted to be judged.

If you missed the deadline, don't worry, you can still be involved. Get your entries to us as soon as possible and they may be used in the Calendar and also in the Fashion Show on 16th September.

16 days Dum Dum Dum!

Just a quick nudge to say there's just 16 days left before the closing date for The Jean Genie

Many thanks to everyone who has been helping to promote the competition, there's still time to get the word out though please, please invite all your friends to join in.

Yesterday I visited Bluebell Wood and it's an amazing place, but it needs every pennt to keep it up and running, please help.

Mental Block!

Ok, how many others have had mental blocks when you've been doing a project?? I do it everytime, I annoy myself so much when I do it. So I've had one for one or two week now because i got stuck on how I got about making something for the competition. Luckily about 10 minutes ago I had a brainwave so i should get back onto track, not really left myself alot of time left though! eek!

How many entries have been entered now does anyone know?

Yesterday on the second hand market I picked up 3 pairs of jeans and a denim skirt for 3 quid - nicely - now gotta find time to recycle!
